In Indigenous teachings, the strawberry, often called the heart berry, represents love, kindness, and connection to the land, while the dreamcatcher symbolizes protection, balance, and the weaving of good dreams and intentions. Together, they form a powerful image of growth and unity—reflected in the panel design, where the dreamcatcher’s web anchors the roots of a flourishing strawberry plant.

This meaningful collection includes a panel available in coral, black, yellow, and blue, a single border and stripe in the same four colors, and a strawberry coordinate in coral, black, blue, yellow, and white. Carla Joseph

Carla Joseph, a Cree artist from Prince George, B.C., was granted the opportunity to be an artist in residence at the Prince George Community Arts Council in 2016. That same year, she won Art Battle, a feat she repeated in 2018. Known for her distinctive style, Carla’s artwork resonates deeply with many, and she finds inspiration in the way it makes others feel. This motivates her to keep pursuing her artistic journey. Carla enjoys challenging herself with a variety of projects, many of which can be seen throughout her local community.
